Love it - but it was so long! Thankfully being a dab hand with a sewing machine I’ve managed to take it up to a reasonable length for the female form!

It's not a toy, it's a process is the developer's answer when a visitor picks up the rubber duck from the desk and squeezes it. The duck is the listener in rubber duck debugging: you explain the code to it line by line, out loud, until the explanation reaches the line that doesn't do what you just said it does. Cognitive science has a name for why that works, the self-explanation effect, which Michelene Chi and colleagues described in 1989.
For programmers who've explained code to an inanimate object and somehow found the bug, and then had to defend the method to people who don't code. Calling it a process is how the duck gets to stay on the desk through the next office tidy-up. The duck isn't decoration; it's methodology.
More debugging methods that look odd from the next desk in the Bugs & Features collection.

The blank behind every t-shirt
Most brands treat the blank as an afterthought. We treat it like the product it is. Every design ships on the same tee we picked after ditching the ones that pill, shrink, and go see-through by the third wash. Proper ring-spun cotton, soft enough to wear five days running, tough enough that the print still looks new long after your last deploy. True to size, no surprises. The kind of shirt you forget you are wearing, which is exactly the point.
