Works On My Machine Shrug
Works on my machine is the universal developer defense when code works locally but fails everywhere else: QA, staging, production, other people's machines. The excuse is old enough to have its own mock certification badge, popularised by Jeff Atwood's Coding Horror blog, for code tested by exactly one person on exactly one computer. This shirt states it with the shrug emoticon.
About the shrug and acceptance that environment differences are real and sometimes you can't explain why it works for you but not them. Works when you're being honest about the limits of local testing, or just done apologizing for environment configuration mysteries. For developers who've learned that "works on my machine" is both a problem and sometimes the only answer you have.
