QA Found It Again
QA found it again is the update a developer least wants on a ticket already marked fixed. Quality assurance testers are paid to find what developers missed, and the classic joke about them, often attributed to a 2018 tweet by Brenan Keller, has a QA engineer order zero beers, a lizard and minus one beers before the first real customer asks where the bathroom is and the bar bursts into flames. When the status goes back to Reopened, the fix usually covered the case in the ticket and nothing else.
For QA testers who have a talent for breaking things developers swore were bulletproof, and developers who've learned to expect it. Good QA is what keeps the disaster out of production, even when your final fix still had issues. The relationship between development and testing is finding bugs, fixing them and finding more.
